Eventmag
Eventmag is an online event promotion and ticket sales service.
The first site of its kind in the RuNet, Eventmag takes a completely new approach to e-ticket sales, aiming to attract a broad audience of event organizers and visitors interested in a wide range of events all over Russia. The site features a unique platform to help organizers build an event of any scale or type, from press conference to music festival, then promote that event to help attract visitors.
Every registered Eventmag user can take on either role, acting alternately as visitor or event planner. From the visitor’s viewpoint, the web resource is a combination of a conveniently arranged current events guide and a ticket office. Users can easily search for interesting events, book directly through the website, buy e-tickets and share information with friends. The event planning tools, on the other hand, allow planners to advertise an event, register participants and sell tickets. The site also provides additional services for event promotion on social networks and email updates for subscribers.
After completing her postgraduate studies in the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics at Moscow State University, Natalia Atyasheva, Eventmag’s CEO, gained 15 years of valuable experience in event management. Atyasheva began her career as an expert in Marketing Communications and Event Management for a number of international companies. In 2001, she started up her own company with a focus on planning and holding professional industry conferences. Eventmag has been operating in the Russian market for more than a decade and holds around 100 events annually. Atyasheva sees limitless potential for growth thanks in large part to the site’s flexibility in an unoccupied market segment. “Eventmag.ru suits any format and helps organizers plan events of any scale and level of complexity,” explains the CEO. “For visitors, the site provides an extremely convenient place for them to access information on a wide variety of available events rather than surfing the Internet for multiple sources.”
