Fastlane Ventures announced new appointments and changes within its senior management team
Fastlane Ventures, Russia’s leading investor in the Internet sector, has today announced new appointments and changes within its senior management team.
The Company is pleased to confirm that Barak Ben-Avionam has joined Fastlane Ventures as Investment Managing Director responsible for expanding the company’s investor profile in international markets and for raising financing for further business development and expansion. Barak is a recognized international expert who has a very strong entrepreneurial background in establishing and managing technological start-ups and has worked at several leading investment companies. He has co-founded a number of successful businesses such as Flash Networks, a global provider of mobile Internet solutions, Prolify, an international developer of next generation email and data integration products and others attracting more than $80 mln of investments. Barak has also led fund-raising campaigns for various leading international investment firms, including Lab-One, Iris Ventures and Nielsen Innovative.

Fastlane Ventures also confirmed that Jere Calmes will be leaving the company to pursue other business interests. Jere was a Managing Director focusing on increasing the overall operational efficiency of the portfolio businesses and targeted restructuring.
